About
Do you struggle to get out of bed in the morning? Do you set an alarm full of good intentions, only to hit the snooze as soon as the alarm goes off? Had enough of wasting time? Well, you’re in the right place. My name is Roy and I run the Early risers club.
What is it about bad habits, where you know what you want to do, but then do the exact opposite? Over and over again, sometimes for years. This is not an early morning call service, this is about changing a bad habit into a good one, permanently.
Call it what you like, maybe low self discipline in the morning, or just a bad habit, once that snooze is pressed you’re back to sleep. And it’s very hard to be disciplined when you’re unconscious!
I’ve looked into this and it’s very hard to find a good explanation.It seems like nobody knows why we have this cycle of deciding to do the right thing and then, at crunch time, NOT doing it! And when it comes to help with this, there doesn’t seem to be any. You can get help with your diet, exercise, smoking, but literally nothing for this. You can find a few helpful tips to get up; Go to bed early, leave your phone away from the bed so you have to get up. But no actual help.
So, if you want to get rid of this bad habit, get in touch. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

What we do
First of all it’s completely anonymous, we just need a first name and number or even a nickname.
It’s quite simple, you tell us what time you want to get up, and at that time in the morning, if you’re not moving and you haven’t checked in, we are on the case. We ring, text, WhatsApp, Skype, you name it we do it. We also use peer pressure, guilt trips, scoreboards. Basically every type of motivation (fair and unfair) to get you up.
How much is it? £20 a month. Just to get rid of the time wasters, and make sure you have a little bit of skin in the game.
Now, we all know the best time to start anything was 20 years ago, but the second best time is NOW!

We use the army ranking system to get your bad habit broken. They suggest 200 days of consistency to break down a bad habit and build a new one.

The rules are;
You must set the time you want to get up the previous night. No changing it in the morning.
You can’t turn your phone off.
2 slips a month, any more than that affects the habit forming.
